Stress Reduction Program
Open to the Public
A mindfulness-based stress reduction program based on the model developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and featured in Bill Moyers' television special and book Healing and the Mind.
In a supportive setting, you will learn relaxation techniques:
After six weeks you will be able to:
1. Calm yourself, reduce worry and anxiety
2. Experience greater pleasure in life 3. Control your anger
4. Increase your energy and improve concentration 5. Release muscle tension
6. Help relieve chronic ailments, pain and infertility

The current course series is
Mondays, Sept 8 – October 27, 2008 (6:30-8:30 pm).
